Today’s tour is a real journey into the heart of a unique World Heritage Region. Departing from the city you travel directly to the Blue Mountains and where the first stop of the day is at Euroka Clearing located deep in the National Park. Here there is abundant birdlife to be found and it’s also home to wild kangaroos. There is time to wander at leisure to see if you can spot any of these beautiful native animals. Your guide will prepare a refreshing morning tea or coffee for you with some local delicacies. From Euroka Clearing we continue to ascend the Blue Mountains via the highway. You will visit one of a range of stunning outlooks of the Jamison Valley seeing beautiful vistas. Where possible this will be away from the crowds of tours that visit the mountains each day, thus allowing you to enjoy a stress and hurry free environment taking in the views and information imparted by their guide.
Continuing on, arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout point away from the crowds for views of the famous Three Sisters. Lunch today is at Hydro Majestic. The afternoon is spent visiting a selection of scenic lookouts. The view from Govett’s Leap is one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. Here the magnificent waterfall drops 180 metres to the base of the cliff. The last stop is the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens where you will stop to enjoy the sweeping views across to Sydney and enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice before travelling down the Bells Line of Road to arrive back at your hotel.

This special place is a traditional fishing ground of the Kuku Yalanji people. Here you will join one of the Kubirri Warra brothers on their beach, mudflat and mangrove walks followed by an introduction to traditional fishing and gathering techniques with the aim of finding your own tucker (food). Visit Mossman Gorge where you will be welcomed with a traditional ‘smoking’ ceremony. This ceremony is conducted by Aboriginal people with specialised cultural knowledge and will protect you whilst visiting Kuku Yalanji country. Wander into the lush rainforest of the World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park – Mossman Gorge and experience one of the world’s oldest and most beautiful rainforest. Enjoy an easy walk across boardwalks, tracks and bridges protecting the delicate eco system that adorns spectacular waterfalls and mountain ranges.
