My love of travel was nurtured early when my parents took two-year-old me on a 2-year travel adventure to Europe, Britain, Canada and the US. I haven’t stopped. There were many travels throughout my school years to country NSW and Victoria with skiing, camping and bushwalking being the recurrent theme. My career in Tourism and Hospitality began on the ski fields of Victoria with an amazing six years at Mt Hotham. But Europe beckoned as it does for most twenty somethings and of course the best way to travel Europe is to get paid to do it and 18-24 Coach Camping was in it’s heyday. I gained much of my group travel experience here working as a camp representative in Amsterdam, Austria and Rome before becoming an on-road cook for the Russia and Scandinavia tours. Finally, after 6 years it was time to “get sensible” and come home. Once home I could not stay away from travel and my career has taken me from State Tourism Authorities to Inbound Travel and Coach Tour operations. I have driven overland from Sydney to Cairns, Perth to Broome and done the Nullarbor twice. I love travelling to anywhere in Australia from the Tropical Rainforests, the Tasmanian Wilderness and the extraordinary Outback. I still travel at any possible opportunity and love to create itineraries for our clients to see the amazing places Australia has to offer. My favourite place in Australia is the Sapphire Coast region of NSW. You will find me there with family and friends bushwalking, camping and cooking over the campfire, any chance I can get.
