Born and bred in Sydney I feel very lucky – as it’s one of the best cities in the world! I have been in the travel industry for about 22 years and with Southern World Australia for about 15 years. I love travelling and have lived and worked in sunny Scotland for 2 years whilst exploring Europe. However, nothing beats travelling in Australia and it’s something I am passionate about. There’s so much to experience in this country – I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy some of the best lodges and resorts in Australia from qualia to Southern Ocean Lodge to Davidsons Arnhemland which are all truly amazing and the experiences are so unique to each destination. I feel very lucky to be able to work in the tourism industry and to experience these beautiful places first hand and in turn –being able to recommend them to our clients.
Whilst I love the luxury of 5* travels, at the other end of the spectrum, I’m equally as happy staying in a cottage and exploring the beautiful NSW coast. Nothing beats a swim in the Pacific Ocean in Sydney in summer! I love watching all sports, but these days I prefer to cheer mostly from the sidelines (or the confines of a cozy pub) rather than play.
