Originally from the UK, I came to Australia to work on the 1986 America’s Cup race in Fremantle. Instead of returning home, I had the best time travelling in Western Australia, across the Nullarbor Plain, up through the centre and over to the North Queensland coast and finally to Sydney, working at various places along the way. I headed back to the UK, applied for Australian residency, packed my bags and have been here ever since. In my admin support role at Southern World I’m constantly discovering exciting and beautiful landscapes and destinations across the breadth of this truly amazing country. The depth of knowledge of the agents and their passion to share the best of what Australia has to offer to the whole range of visitors makes this a vibrant, challenging and fun place to work.
