I’m originally from Russia, but don’t look typically Russian as my dad is from Chechnya state of Russia. I’ve been working in travel for over 10 years now and have worked in inbound, outbound and undertaken training in travel and management.
My sister has lived in Australia for over 12 years, so I used to visit her and do all touristy things people do once in a couple of years. After that I became convinced that Australia should be my new home, so I moved to Sydney 5 years ago.
Tasmania and Bay of Fires are my favourite places to visit and I’m planning to go back there soon. I am still amazed after 5 years how every state of Australia is so different to each other.
Southern World is my perfect work place as they help me grow as an expert and I get to know my Agents very well.
I do a lot of different types of sports: yoga, running, fitness and try to do a half marathon every September in Sydney just to appreciate our amazing city. This is the only day they close the Sydney Harbour Bridge to traffic and you get to run over the bridge itself finishing at Sydney Opera House. I use it as little reminder to myself of why I moved here and why I love it here so much.
I also got recently obsessed with making terrariums out of live plants and even sell them online a little bit in Sydney. I do enjoy bush walking, but getting my husband outdoors takes some convincing. I have two fur babies: a dog and a cat. Our dog is my favourite, so I train and spoil her a lot. She is a blue Staffy with lots of energy!
