Coming from a (back then) small country town in New South Wales, Australia, I naturally wanted to get out and explore as soon as I could! While studying for a Bachelors Degree in Tourism Management, I worked as a tour guide, showing our beautiful country off to travellers from all around the world. Far North Queensland is certainly a very special place and my favourite in Australia. There is nowhere else in the World quite like the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef side by side. I still remember my first ever swim at the Great Barrier Reef and how in awe I was. The reason I do what I do is so that our guests get to experience what I did. Since those days, I have always worked in the tourism industry in many different capacities and wouldn’t change a thing!
I have lived in Sydney for the past 20 years and am lucky enough to live close to the beach and the Royal National Park. Along with my husband and 2 girls, we love bushwalking, cycling, swimming, paddleboarding, anything outdoors really. There is nothing better to set up your day than an early morning walk or swim as the sun rises over the beach. Something to do at least once while you are on the East Coast of Australia!
