I come from the beautiful Kapiti coast just north of Wellington, our capital city. I am so lucky to have grown up there with the Kapiti Island bird sanctuary and wild west coast beaches on my door step. My father was a pilot operating from the local airport at Paraparaumu Beach, so I am programmed to jump in planes and go explore new places. I have visited some amazing places in Europe, the pacific and Japan, but I think the most unusual place is the Chatham Islands here in New Zealand. Growing up in the Aviation industry it wasn’t a surprise that I was keen to join the Tourism industry when I left school. After completing courses in Hospitality and Travel Consultancy, I found myself working for a Chartered Accountant! This was not the plan, however since then I have had the opportunity to work for some great companies and industries including Airlines, Sporting Stadiums and Rugby Unions and this has fed in to my interests in travel, people and event hosting. I love to travel and have natural curiosity to see what is around the next corner.
