Rotorua
The famous thermal town has a wide range of accommodation options so will suit all team budgets. November is a busy month as it is peak time for tourists but the town is large enough to still absorb the rally event without to much trouble.
Gisborne
The Eastern most city in New Zealand and thus one of the first cities in the world to see the new day. Not a large place so mostly motel style accommodation here.
Napier
Famous for Art Deco architecture and wine Napier is a delightful little coastal town. Very popular on the tourist trail and accommodation does run scarce during the summer months.
Feilding
A lovely rural town typical of many small country service towns in New Zealand. Very limited accommodation options here, most teams will likely need to stay in nearby Palmerston North just 18K's away.
Ohakune
A ski resort town in the winter and sleepy tourist town in the summer. Located near the dramatic Tongariro National Park. Mostly B&B and Motel accommodation here.
Taupo
Situated beside the largest lake in New Zealand, Taupo is a popular stop for for sports events including the annual international Iron Man. A good range of hotels and motels on offer here.
Hamilton
The largest inland city in New Zealand and surrounded by the green pastures of productive Waikato dairy farms. The usual array of hotels, motels and B&B's on offer.
Rallying might be your primary focus but the route the organisers have laid out for you this year is pretty spectacular, taking in some of New Zealands most amazing scenery.
